Why the Eastern and Pacific offsets change between sessions
Mexico City is UTC-6 in F1's timetable. US daylight saving ends on November 1 at 2 a.m. local time under NIST's rule. Qualifying takes place before that change; the race takes place afterward. For the zones shown here, Saturday uses EDT/CDT/MDT/PDT and Sunday uses EST/CST/MST/PST.
| Session | Mexico City | Eastern | Central | Mountain | Pacific |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mexico GP qualifying | Oct 31 15:00 CST | Oct 31 17:00 EDT | Oct 31 16:00 CDT | Oct 31 15:00 MDT | Oct 31 14:00 PDT |

The calendar stores each start as UTC: qualifying October 31 at 21:00 UTC and race November 1 at 20:00 UTC. Your app converts to its chosen zone. It includes the scheduled session windows; the race's actual finishing time can differ. This is an independent dated download, not F1's live calendar feed.
Is qualifying on Saturday or Sunday?
F1's official full timetable puts qualifying on Saturday, October 31, from 15:00 to 16:00 Mexico City time. The race is Sunday, November 1, scheduled 14:00 to 16:00 local. Check the official timetable for changes; do not apply Sunday's standard-time offset to Saturday's qualifying.
What about Arizona or Hawaii?
The Mountain column uses America/Denver, which observes the US clock change. It is not a statewide Arizona clock. The Pacific column uses America/Los_Angeles. Readers in zones that do not change clocks should import the UTC calendar or convert from UTC for their actual location.
Mexico GP times in Phoenix, Honolulu and Anchorage
| Location | Qualifying | Race start |
|---|---|---|
| Phoenix | Oct 31 14:00 MST | Nov 01 13:00 MST |
| Honolulu | Oct 31 11:00 HST | Nov 01 10:00 HST |
| Anchorage | Oct 31 13:00 AKDT | Nov 01 11:00 AKST |
Phoenix and Honolulu keep their standard-time offsets. Anchorage changes from AKDT to AKST between the sessions. These named locations do not establish a single rule for every part of Arizona or Alaska.
Each conversion uses F1's UTC start and the named IANA zone. The NIST local-time FAQs explain US clock-change exceptions. Download the expanded location table (CSV). No account or location permission is needed.
